North Ocean City runs from the the the Route 90 bridge to the Delaware line.  This area is known as “Condo Row” but is still a great place to find hotels with a quieter vibe.  Families love North Ocean City because it is close to Northside Park where many sporting events and youth camps are hosted. Winterfest is based here and shouldn’t be missed each year from Thanksgiving until New Year’s.

North Ocean City is known as “condo row” because there are so many large condo buildings above the Route 90 bridge.  If you prefer hotels, you don’t need to worry as there are many hotel options along this quieter stretch of Ocean City from 62nd Street to the Delaware line as well.  The largest oceanfront hotels are destinations in themselves. The Clarion Fontainebleau Resort Hotel owns their own beach so they can serve drinks as you lounge in the sand.  They also have a spa with large indoor and outdoor pools, an indoor hot-tub, sauna, and steam room as well as two fitness rooms.  The Princess Royale at 91st Street is the first hotel in Ocean City to add a boutique hotel within their larger hotel and condo building.  They have some smart rooms, a large tropical atrium with a huge indoor pool, and bars and restaurants that feature local craft beer.  

There are some popular restaurants in the northern area of Ocean City defined as north of the Route 90 bridge and extending north to the Delaware line.  The Original Greene Turtle is a popular choice and Liquid Assets is a great bar and restaurant year-round.  Many people never think to look inside hotels for great restaurants if you aren’t staying there.  North Ocean City will prove you wrong.  Horizons inside the Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel has the best wine list in Ocean City and has great food options all with a view of the ocean.  Their outside bar is fun and they are only the second hotel in Ocean City that owns their own beach which allows them to have a server take your drink orders and deliver them to the beach.  Great craft beer options are available inside the Princess Royale.  You have an ocean view again, this time with tap-takeovers and a local craft beer focus.  The food is fabulous too!
